Update...

Well, some sad news after running for the Lewiston, Idaho store. Ryan was not picked for the store, but he did come in second place. I know to everyone reading this that sounds a little like "second place is firt last" but for Ryan that is still a lot to be proud of. The Lewiston store is probably one of the top 5 stores in the whole company and for Ryan to come in that close is huge considering there were 19 other people who ran for this store.

Yes we were bummed, but we believe that we didn't get picked for this store for a reason. Maybe we don't fully understand it right now, but once we get to where we are supposed to be according to God's plan everything will all make sense to us.

Nothing else is available right now, but hopefully soon there will be some more opportunities for us.

Thanks to everyone for all of the positive thoughts and we will keep you all posted for what is going on!

Fingers crossed...

For all who don't know...

Ryan has officially been "approved" to put in for his transfer. YAY!!! It's about time!

Well, since the good news there was a store opening in Lewiston, ID and we have decided to try to get the transer there. No it isn't home, but it is a lot closer to home than where we are now and we would be making a lot more money. This would be a really good for Ryan's career as well as for our family. This is something that we are very excited about and hope that everyone can be as excited as we are.

So in short, we ask that everyone think POSITIVE thoughts for us and maybe even say a few prayers as we are up against some big competition for this store....

Thank you in advance to everyone who is pulling for us!!! We love you all.

Fun times at the Utah State Fair

I seriously think that this trip to the fair was the most fun Ryan and I have ever had at the fair..even compared to when we were kids. Just to witness the pure joy and complete fun that Brookelynn was having was one of the greatest things ever!!! I wish that the day had never ended. We look forward to next year's fair for sure!!!!! Get ready...
Get set....
GO!
Hey, that was fun! Let's go again daddy!!!
( I think she said again, again, again to Ryan about 10 times and he took her down again every time!)
On some loopty loo roller coaster ride. She enjoyed this one too.
She didn't want to get off!
In the bounce house.

Brookelynn had soooo much fun. We really can't wait until next year when both girls can have fun!!!

Labor Day Storm

Over labor day weekend we were planning on going on a short camping trip, but as you can see, Mother Nature had different plans in mind!! But Ryan and Brookelynn still managed to find something positive with the negative...dancing in the rain!

Brooke may have been born in Utah, but she is a true Seattle girl at hear!!!

Fun Times....

We haven't really been up to much lately so these are just some random photos from home and at our friends house. Our little cowgirl!
Yes, Adyson is in the TOY stroller!!! This is how Brooke gets to "play" with her little sis. For now anyways!
Brooke can't wait for Ady to actually play with her!
Hangin' out in daddy's hat!
Mmmm. If I stay up late with mom I get a treat!!!
(She really did eat some of it too!)
Brooke is going through a phase where she gets out of her bed and sleeps on the floor. Not sure what that is all about, but this is how I found her when I checked on her one night. And no I did not leave her there!!!
" And I will hold the world ransom for One Million Dollars," said Dr. Evil.
Punk rocker in training!!!
