Ryan has been wanting to dig a pit since we have moved in. Memorial Day weekend seemed like a perfect time to get it done.

Making sure that the ground is level for the bricks. Who knew building a fire pit was so technical?
Sweeping the bricks to prepare them for the glue to hold the bricks together...he told me that he would kill me if I posted this photo....soo...if anything happens... JUST KIDDING!!!
The first level of bricks completed. A little out of order I guess...sorry!
Ryan forgot to buy whatever thos doo-hickeys are called that you use to get the stuff out of the tubes so being a man's man he is trying to figure out how he is going to get it out without having to go back to the store...LOL! He ended up using a STICK!!!

And we got to enjoy the fire pit before bed time too! It was great! Thanks babe! What a great idea!
